Overview

The Orange Legislative Tracker turns dense public record — council actions, votes, resolutions, contracts, and spending — into something residents can actually read and search. Clarity as a civic outcome.

The Challenge

Government information is technically public but practically unreadable — scattered across PDFs, resolutions, and spreadsheets. The work made complex civic material clear and searchable enough to support real decisions and genuine public accountability.

Creative Direction

Direction paired editorial discipline with live data: legislative items, a council vote matrix, spending overviews, and outcome flows in one consistent visual language — structure, hierarchy, and plain language so that clarity becomes a civic outcome rather than a filing requirement.
