Overview

Station Coffee reimagines a transit environment at Maplewood Station as a neighborhood ritual — a place-making project, developed for an NJ Transit RFP, where architecture, brand, and operations meet daily life.

The Challenge

Transit spaces are usually infrastructure to move through. The concept was to make one a place to arrive — a daily ritual with identity, service, and spatial efficiency.

Creative Direction

Direction organized the project around movement and community: how people flow, pause, and return. Brand cues, spatial efficiency, and operational planning were designed together so the experience works at 7am rush and midday calm.
